One-Day “Studio Workshops”

‘Fishlike Freestyle’ or ‘Different Strokes’: Swimming instruction on a one-to-one private basis is £275. For 2:1 semi-private workshops - sign up with a friend, split the instruction between you and have your own ‘swim-buddy’ to work with - it is £175 per person. These workshops are five hours of in water instruction

'SwimShack Alumni Top-up': Three ninety-minute sessions one-to-one for £220

‘TI Finishing School’ or ‘ High-Performance Swimming’: These 2 X 90 minute swimming instruction sessions are £165 on a one-to-one private basis or £105 per person for 2:1

Private Instruction Packages

‘Fish-Like Freestyle’ or ‘Different Strokes’: £395 for one-to-one private swimming instruction for eight hours of in water lessons

'Adult Begin to Swim': £375 for six 75-minute lessons with any subsequent lessons secured at £50 per hour

'TI Finishing School’ or ‘High-Performance Swimming’: £240 for one-to-one private swimming instruction for three 90 minute pool sessions.

‘Freestyle Basics ’: £115 for a two-hour lesson on the fundamentals necessary for efficient freestyle - should you subsequently decide to trade this lesson up to a full 8-hour package you only pay the balance of £280

‘Swim Check Plus’: £85 for a 90 minute analysis and basic swimming instruction session

‘Taster Session': £45 for 45 minutes in the pool

If you do not see exactly the package you would like please call to discuss this because we can build a package around your exact needs

My hourly rate is currently £60 per hour for private lessons for any booking less than 3 hours in total (£45 per person for 2:1 lessons). For any lesson block between 3 and 7 hours total the hourly rate is £55 private and £35 per person semi-private. If your booking is for 8 or more hours of lessons the hourly rate shall be £50 for private, £30 per person for semi private. Remember the more hours you pay for up-front the better the rate

All payments are to be by cheque, BACS transfer or by card (with a small service charge). All one-day workshops must be paid for in full and in advance. For lesson packages a £100 per person deposit is required in advance with the full outstanding balance being paid on the day of your first session. Full payment is always required in advance for any 'one-day' sessions/workshops

Cheques are payable to Ian Smith and sent to 64 Holywell Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 3JZ.

Cancellations & Booking Policy: Please understand prior notice of any cancellation is essential as I shall need to try to fill the vacant pool time or loose revenue

10 Day Advance Notice: The £100 per person deposit remains non-refundable, however if you are unable to attend a session or workshop and notify me at least 10 days in advance, your full deposit will be applied to any future SwimShack package or workshop within one year of the original booking. If you have paid in full I will either refund the excess balance, or apply the full fee to a future date at your direction
4-9 Day Advance Notice: Notify me from 4-9 days in advance and a £25 cancellation/transfer fee will be added to your total balance
0-3 Day Advance Notice: Notify me less than 4 days in advance, and you will be liable to forfeit your entire deposit.
