Terms and Conditions Cancellations: Please understand prior notice of any cancellation is essential: if I can not fill the vacant time that revenue is lost forever! More than 8 days advance notice: The £100 per person deposit remains non-refundable, however if you are unable to attend a session or workshop, or wish to cancel a complete package and notify me at least 8 days in advance, your full deposit can be applied to any future SwimShack package or workshop within one year of the original booking date. If you have already paid in full I will either refund the excess balance, or apply the full fee to a future date at your direction. Sessions already booked can be transferred to a future date by mutual agreement without penalty 8 days or less advance notice : Give me less than 9 days notice and any sessions planned within that time will be forfeit and no refund of any kind will be made. The exception would be if you can provide a valid medical certificate covering the day(s) in question, in which case either the missed session(s) will be re-scheduled or any payment above the £100 deposit refunded. Please note: packages are offered at a discounted hourly rate and if your cancellation means the hours you actually took would not qualify for that discount, those hours would revert back to the full rate and only the balance refunded ********** I reserve the right to cancel any workshop or lessons, without notice, in which case a full refund will be given on request ********** I will only cancel booked sessions through personal illness, injury or a change in circumstance that was not known at the time the booking was made; this can include an unexpected failure of the pool equipment or the pool water not being in peak condition Booking Policy: If you have bought a package of lessons it is up to you to contact me to book your lesson times/dates. You should allow yourself several weeks lead time as slots can be fully booked for several weeks in advance, in particular on Saturdays, please also supply several options. Last minute bookings are sometimes available, so don’t be afraid to ask If, having taken part of a package of lessons, e.g. 3 out of 5 booked lessons, you fail to book in your next lesson within four months, I will take that to mean you do not wish to complete your instruction at SwimShack and your lesson package will be deemed closed – no refund will be offered in such circumstances. However, if your circumstances mean you are unable to continue for some reason please call and discuss this with me Payments: All payments should be either by cheque, payable to Ian Smith; or on-line BACS transfer, bank details by request; or by credit/debit card, via the Pay Pal invoice system & with a 2.5% service charge. All one-day workshops or single sessions must be paid for in full and in advance. For all lesson packages a non-refundable £100 per person deposit is required in advance with the full balance outstanding being paid on or before the day of your first session. I reiterate full payment is always required in advance for any 'one-day' sessions/lessons/studio-workshops Cheque's payable to Ian Smith and sent to 64 Holywell Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 3JZ Free 'take home' DVD: Important sections of all sessions here at SwimShack are recorded onto DVD, with full audio, and this disc is yours to take away to study and work from. However, AV equipment can and does sometimes fail and in that event there is nothing that can be done about it, this is a free additional service that is considered 'subject to availability'
